COVID 19 Vaccination update
Please be aware that planning is underway across Plymouth to offer patients the COVID 19 vaccination. However, despite recent press announcements, we do not have any dates as to when vaccine supplies will be made available to us at the surgery.
Please can we ask patients do not contact us to book or enquire about the vaccination, we will be in contact directly with patients who are eligible to arrange dates once they have been confirmed.
For the latest information please see the Covid-19 vaccinations page here.
Need to make an appointment?
You can still call us and but we also recommend that you use eConsult available on our website which replaces a telephone call. https://www.lissongroveandwoolwellmc.co.uk/ You can complete and use eConsult for general queries (medical or admin) or because you have a medical concern. It can be completed 24/7 and we aim to process within two working days Depending on the contents a clinician may call you, arrange a video consult or ask you to attend the surgery; for more straightforward requests we may respond electronically. There are also options available for you to self-help or find further information.
Masks/Face coverings:
Please wear a face covering if you have been asked to attend the surgery to help protect staff and other patients.
Front doors:
Our outer doors are still open at both sites but we are not allowing anyone further into the building unless they have a pre-booked appointment and satisfy our safety checks. Whilst the receptionists will speak to people via intercom we would request where possible you use eConsult or call us please.
Prescriptions:
All prescriptions are now sent electronically directly to your nominated pharmacy (this can be changed as required). Any prescription requests - please order online via our website, NHS App or via the dedicated POD (text ‘REPEAT’ to 66777) for the quickest turnaround. There are post boxes at both sites if you are unable to order electronically.
We are continually trying to reduce paper use for environmental and audit reasons but also now to minimise the risk of any Covid transfer via the paper.
NHS App/Online services:
We would advise anyone who doesn’t yet have an Online service with us to download and set-up the NHS App on your mobile device (or use through your browser). https://www.nhs.uk/app Once we see that you have registered for that we will automatically register you for the Lisson Grove online services.
