Order Repeat Prescription   Non preferred option

We would like to encourage all our patients who use this link to Register for our Online Patient Services. This is a much more efficient system and we are hoping at some point this is the only way to order scripts through the website.  Please come to the surgery and ask to be signed up for patient services which allows you to order prescriptions and book appointments with your GP online.

Order via Vision Online  - Prefered Option (you will need to attend the practice with photo ID to register for this first)

Once you are registered online you can also make appointments to see your GP online too!

Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered, using the following methods:

• In writing, preferably on repeat order form provided with your prescription
• E-mail to    Clinical.s71449@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk
• By fax on 447 9866
• Online via the prescription link Order via Vision Online at the top of this page

In the interest of safety and accuracy, we cannot accept telephone requests for prescriptions. Prescriptions can be collected from reception, from nearby chemists (see below) or by sending a SAE provided by you.  

Please allow 72 hours when ordering your repeat prescription.

Please ensure you have enough medication to last you over any  holiday period and reorder in advance to give you plenty time.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
