We are delighted to announce Hermitage Medical Practice is re-starting the Open Surgery clinics from 1st August 2022.
From 1st August, the open surgery (accessible on the day without a pre-booked appointment, will take place in the morning for all patients).
The open surgery clinics will run Monday to Friday from 9am. Patients must be booked in by 10am. Patients can check in from 8am if they wish.

Vaccinations

From 1st May 2022, all vaccines will be delivered by health and social care partnerships instead of GP practices.  Immunisations provide vital protection to you and your family against illnesses which can be serious or even fatal.
For more information on what vaccines you are eligible for, and how to access these, please visit NHS Lothian’s website.

Online Services

Text Messaging Communication

We are able to send you a text message to remind you to book your annual recalls. You can receive information by text message on your mobile phone regarding your healthcare.

What you need to do?

If you would like your practice to contact you via the text messaging service please make sure that we have a current mobile number for yourself or any family/household members.

Consent is implied if we have a registered mobile number for you, If you do not wish to receive these communications please contact the surgery who will update your records.

Specimen Samples

Please DO NOT leave samples in the reception foyer when the surgery is closed.  All samples must be handed in to a member of the Practice team.

The following link has been created to provide the four independent contractor groups with information and assets to support them in communicating with their patients/customers:

The assets provided will help explain that services are still being delivered, but how they are being delivered has changed as a result of coronavirus. https://www.nhsinform.scot/communityhealth
