For information on the benefits and risks of the COVID-19 vaccination, please click here.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

The first phase of the NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme has started in the UK. Vaccinations are being delivered according to priority groups identified by the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI). When it is the right time for you to receive the vaccine, you will receive an invitation to come forward. Please do not contact us to get an appointment, we will contact you.
Information on the vaccine is available on the NHS.UK website. For anything else, your GP practice is open and if you need to get in touch, please ring call us or book an appointment online.

Adults over 50s flu vaccination

As part of the Government’s expanded flu immunisation programme, adults over the age of 50 will be able to get their free flu vaccine from 1 December 2020. We will be contacting you to book this appointment. Please note that you also may receive a call from the NHS Immunisation Management Service reminding you to book your flu jab, this is a legitimate service and not a fraudulent call.

Face coverings

As per the Government guidelines, from Monday 15th June, all patients aged 11 or over visiting the surgery will need to wear their own face covering at all times while inside the surgery. A cloth face covering should cover your mouth and nose while allowing you to breathe comfortably. It can be as simple as a scarf or bandana that ties behind the head. Please visit https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-covering. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please do not come into the surgery if you or a member of your household has any of the following symptoms: a fever, a new continuous cough or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia). Please stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days. Please stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days.
