Online Services

To make it easier for you to access our surgery we have implemented a number of new systems that allow you to access primary care quicker and more conveniently.

Video Consultations via accuRx

Did you know that you can now book video consultations with the surgery? Video consultations can be used for a number of different issues and conditions and can be booked with a GP or nurse.

We follow NHS guidance and use secure, NHS approved software to ensure that we use video consultations safely and effectively.

We have made sure that our video consultations are easy for you to access and use. To help you to do this, please view the video below or read the 'How to Guide' for video consultations.

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

Have Your Say

Coronavirus

Please do not come into the surgery if you or a member of your household has any of the following symptoms: a fever, a new continuous cough or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia). Please stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days.

We have changed the way we book our appointments in response to the latest Government guidance on COVID-19. All patients who request any type of appointment will first be telephoned by a clinician. The clinician will assess you and determine how best to meet your care needs. If you do not need to come into the surgery, you will be given the appropriate self-care advice, treatment and information on what to do if you become more unwell. You will be offered an appointment if it is essential for you to be seen face to face. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.

The latest COVID-19 guidance and information can be from here gov.uk and at nhs.uk.

Take the Friends & Family Test

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was introduced in 2014 to help service providers and commissioners understand whether their patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. It is a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving care or treatment across the NHS.

Help us to improve our service, learn more about the test and give us your feedback.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Access & Parking

There is disabled access at the surgery and limited on street parking outside. Patients are requested not to park in the restaurant car park next door. We are the first building on the right as you turn off the main road into Hawkwell Park Drive.

Holiday Season is nearly here

Please ask at reception for  Travel Risk Assestment Form. This will enable the nurse to check your records for any vaccines needed. Please allow as much time in advance before travelling, this can be up to 10 weeks prior.
