Patient Notice
Please note GP Face to Face consultations are for 10 minutes if you have more than one problem you may be asked to book a further appointment
Prescriptions please allow 48 hours for processing
We are working to 'get back to normal' although we are experiencing some of the most severe pressure we have ever seen. GP surgeries across the country are experiencing the same significant and rapidly rising demand. We will continue to manage all urgent problems in working hours as we have throughout the pandemic.
Please consider using Online Consult as your first port of call which will help us to deal with your query in the most effective way. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION
Patients with respiratory symptoms who are required to attend for a face to face appointment should wear a facemask/covering, if tolerated, or you will be offered one on arrival.
All other patients are not required to wear a facemask unless this is a personal preference.
What does this mean for me?
- When you book an appointment with your GP you will now have the option to book a face to face or a telephone or online appointment but if you are seen in person and have respiratory symptoms you will need to wear a face covering.
- When you arrive at your GP practice, yourself and anyone accompanying you must wear a face covering such as a face mask. You can find out how to make a cloth face covering on the uk website.
- Staff in the practice will be wearing personal protective equipment.
- Doors and windows will be kept open to let any Covid particles out into the air.
- Your practice will take the necessary steps to make sure that the premises is Covid-19 secure and safe for you to visit.
- Remember to wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitiser provided, keep your distance from people, and avoid touching your face.
