Barrington Medical Centre - vitual Patient Participation Group
In 2011, the practice established a ‘virtual Patient Participation Group - vPPG’ to draw together a small number of invited patients into a single body who help us to consider the views of our wider patient population and agree what actions we might take to improve the medical care and services available through Barrington Medical Centre.
We co-ordinate the group’s input electronically, via email, which is why we are called a ‘virtual group’.
Our vPPG is a small group of around 20 patients who were invited to form a representative sample of our patient population. Membership of the group will be maintained in that way by inviting or advertising future vacancies for membership as they arise.
We would like to thank the members of the group for working with the practice to consider the views of our patient population and for working with us on initiatives and ideas to improve what we already do.
