PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP COMMITTEE (PPGC)
Patient participation is, patients working with a practice to;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services
- Foster improved communication between the practice and it's patients
- Help patients to take more responsibility for their health
- Provide practical support and help to implement change
PPGC's work by building a relationship between the practice and it's patients that can help to break down barriers and share information.
We feel we already have a good relationship with our patients but we would like to build on this.
We have a small group consisting of patients, Dr Daniela Penge and Heather King (practice manager) meet regularly to discuss ways our Patient Forum can be developed further.
We are interested in expanding the demographic of the group, therefore if you are aged 18 - 25 and think you could be the patient voice for your age group and would be interested in joining the Forum please do get in touch. Please contact Green Street Clinic PPG, c/o The Surgery. Please leave details of how you can be contacted and someone from the PPGC will get back to you.
