Closed for Training

Most months of the year, a half day training session takes place for all GP practices in Portsmouth (known locally as 'TARGET'). This provides protected time for the doctors, nurses and practice team to attend essential education events so we can continue to provide the highest quality of care. TARGET usually takes place on the last Wednesday afternoon each month apart from August and December. On these days, the practice, along with all others in the city are closed from 1pm. For more information about TARGET, click here

Urgent care is still available by contacting 111, and the walk-in centres in the city are also open during these times.
