Appointments can be booked through askmygp.

Emergency appointments are offered where someone is thought to have become acutely unwell and cannot wait for review until the following day. These appointments with be with the duty clinician. Please request these only where such rules apply as they have a knock-on effect on surgeries and can lead to delay for other patients who have booked appointments in advance.

  • PLEASE NOTE: if we have reached capacity for the day and you feel your appointment cannot wait, you can contact the GP Alliance on 01942 482848, NHS 111 out of hours, Leigh Walk-in-Centre or A+E if your condition is life-threatening.

Telephone Advice can be requested through askmygp.

Extended Hours

Extended hours surgeries are offered by the GP Alliance Hub Monday to Friday between 18:30 - 20.00 and Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 - 16:00. These are for the benefit of patients who are unable to attend during normal surgery hours and all are for pre-booked appointments only.   Telephone 01942 482848

Advanced Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with an advanced practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
