Health Promotion Clinics
We run a range of health promotion clinics aimed at improving general levels of health. They are run by our practice nurses and doctors. The following is a list of the clinics:
- Asthma
- Heart disease
- Diabetes
- COPD
- Hypertension
- Contraception and sexual health advice (offered during normal clinic)
- Health check
- Epilepsy
- Mental health
- Family planning
- Smoking cessation advice
- Well man / woman clinic (during normal surgery hours but please make an appointment)
Other Services Offered
- Ante natal clinic - run by midwives every Friday between 10am- 12pm
- Cervical cytology - most smears are done during surgery hours by our practice nurses.

Baby clinic - including development assessment. Clinic held between 10:00 to 12 noon each Wednesday. Please make sure to have your baby weight taken at Golborne Clinic before attending for a 6 weeks development check. - Baby immunisation clinics - run by our practice nurses every week. It is important that all babies and children under 5 are fully immunised.
- Travel vaccination - our nurses offer a full range of travel vaccinations. You can get further information about your vaccination from the above tab.
- Other vaccinations - available from our practice nurse for patients travelling abroad or those who need general protection.
- Chiropodist - services are available at a local Golborne clinic.
