When We Are Closed

The NHS 111 Service offers advice to patients 24 hours a day 7 days per week.  This service can be accessed by telephoning 111.

Local Minor Injuries Unit

Your local Urgent Care Centre is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week including weekends and bank holidays. The address is University Hospital of Hartlepool, Holdforth Road, Hartlepool TS24 9AH. They will see anyone who has had a recent injury. They can bandage and stitch wounds, x-ray limbs.  They can supply some medication for infections, pain and allergic type reactions. They can also give advice about treatments and further care.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

The Practice now offers additional appointments outside of our normal opening times.

These appointments will be delivered at The One Life Centre on our behalf.  They are bookable through our reception.  You will be able to see a GP, Nurse or Health Care Assistant.

Please ask at reception for an appointment.
