Appointments

Consultations are by appointment and can be booked in person or over the telephone during opening hours. 

Bookings can also be made online - please ask at reception about registering for our online services.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Telephone Advice 

If you require advice from the doctor or nurse please telephone the main surgery number for further information.

Cancellations

If you don't need your appointment please cancel as soon as possible to allow other patients to be seen. Please note if you miss 3 or more appointments in the space of 12 months you will be removed from the practice list.

Extended Hours

We now offer evening appointments for our patients to see a GP, Nurse and HCA. These appointments may be delivered in another location so please ask the reception team for information.

Evening and weekend appointments

Hartlepool and Stockton collectively offer routine appointments that are bookable at designated locations on evenings and weekends, please ask at reception or contact the surgery for details.

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30 if you require a home visit.

URGENT requests for visits may be made at any time of the day as there will always be a doctor on duty to deal with emergencies.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
