Coronavirus Information

To reduce your chances of catching COVID-19 and reduce pressure on your local GP practice during this busy time, appointments will be carried out over the phone or through using the WebGP service unless there is a clinical need for you to come into the practice. This will help minimise risk while continuing to ensure people get the care and advice they need.

111 SICKNESS CERTIFICATION 

People unable to work for more than seven days because of Coronavirus can now obtain an isolation note through a new online service.

Additional Online Appointments

The practice has recently opened up more on-line appointments - please ensure that you book into the appropriate appointment slots - if appointments are booked inappropriately then patients may not be seen and will be asked to rebook.

As from the 1st June 2021 the prescription office will only be open from 11.00am - 1.00pm Monday - Friday

If you have an urgent prescription query outside of these hours then please speak to a receptionist

Dementia Friendly Surgery

Oaklands Surgery has won the top award for being a Dementia Friendly GP Surgery for implementing changes within the surgery to improve support for the care of people with dementia and their carers.  The award was presented to Dr Mujahid in September 2018 at a GP training session.

Advance appointments can be booked via Oaklands Surgery on 01268 209339 and for on the day appointments telephone one of the surgeries above during times shown.  This service is available to patients who are registered at participating surgeries only.  Please note this is not a walk-in service but by appointment only.

In addition to these appointments patients can also book evening appointments from 6.30pm-8.00pm

When to use it

You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.


Call 111 if:
  • you think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service
  • you need health information or reassurance about what to do next

For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency you don't know who to call or you don't have a GP to call
