Appointments
The practice offers appointments in an number of ways
econsult
eConsult enables our clinicians to offer online consultations to our patients. This allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to the practice electronically and offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker.
All clinical appointment will be triaged prior to an appointment being offered.
It is very important that you provide the reception Staff with as much information as possible regarding the nature of your complaint in order that they can direct your need to the most appropriate Health Professional at the Health Centre.
Emergency Appointments
If your need is urgent, your problem will initially be triaged by a member of the Duty Clinical Team on the same day to assess how your needs can best be met. This might result in a telephone consultation, video consultation or if deemed necessary a face to face appointment. This duty team consists of Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Paramedic Practitioners.
Routine appointments
These will be offered to patients who have made contact through the econsult system, been triaged by one of our clinicians or asked to re attend for follow up by one of our medical team. Again these will be ether : telephone consultation, Video consolation and if required face to face.
Please remember each appointment is only for one person.
Please do not let children under 12 years attend alone.
It is our aim that by directing patients towards more appropriate health professionals in the team, the doctors can have more time to see patients who specifically need to see the GP
Treatment room appointments
These can be booked by making contact with our reception team.
