A caller will phone you and suggest that they are calling you on behalf of your Doctor or local Hospital. They may even mention the name of your Surgery to convince you that the call is genuine.

What can I do to avoid being a victim?
Remember this advice:
> Your GP will NEVER share your contact telephone number or address.
> Your GP will NEVER ask a company to call you to discuss your health.

What should I do if I receive a call?
Hang up straight away and NEVER hand over your card details.
