PATIENT NOTICE!

Following the incident at the Armthorpe Practice on mere lane we have been notified that the building works are set to continue until June at the earliest. Until the building works are complete the Armthorpe Practice will remain closed for patient safety . We will keep you updated as and when we know more from the building contractors.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and look forward to seeing you all at the refreshed and updated Armthorpe Practice as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

We now have a new online system in place to deal with:

  • Routine Appointments
  • Sick note requests
  • Test Results
  • Repeat Prescription requests
  • Admin Requests such as access to medical reports / request a medical report
  • SUBMIT A NEW REQUEST BY CLICKING ON THE GREEN BANNER ABOVE

Our reception team with then deal with your request appropriately.  This will save you time waiting on the phones and free up our receptionist to deal with urgent on the day requests.

We are a Training Practice

In partnership with Sheffield University we accommodate training for GP Registrars and medical students.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Sandringham Site

Disability ConfidentThe main doors of the Health Centre are automatic and the new building includes fully up to date facilities. The Practice operates from the ground floor. There is a practice wheelchair available for use as one of the corridors is quite lengthy. For the security of the building CCTV cameras have been installed. Bus route number 82

Armthorpe Site

Auckley Site

The Practice operates from the ground floor. There is a practice wheelchair available if required. For the security of the building CCTV cameras have been installed. Bus route number 57c

Patient Information

Please keep the practice up to date with all contact details, including mobile numbers so we can keep you up to date by text.  

We have disabled access and toilets, a play area for children and a car park for the use of our patients.

To obtain any test results please contact the surgery after 12.00 noon. Please note between 8.00am-12.00pm the telephone lines are very busy dealing with urgent requests.
