Everyone is welcome in General Practice.

You do not need to proof of ID, address, immigration status or an NHS number in order to receive care or see a GP.

We now have a new telephone system in place, if you do not wish to stay on the line but want to keep your place in the queue, you can do so by requesting an automatic call back.

We would like to thank our patients who have been brilliant and adapted really well to the recent changes and apologise for any delay that may have been caused when contacting the Surgery by telephone, this has been a very difficult time for everybody and we appreciate your understanding during this time.

We are actively recalling patients on disease management registers to undertake their annual reviews. It is important that you attend these appointments so we can ensure we are providing you with high quality care and follow on management plans.

We have now got a separate telephone line to deal with these specific appointments 01302 986111, this line is available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.

Gentle reminder: If you no longer require your booked appointment please be courteous and cancel so that another patient requiring medical help can utilise the appointment you no longer require.

Please, please only attend A&E if you have a medical emergency. This is not a service for minor presenting ailments.

Clinics & Services

Nurse Practitioners

Our Advanced Nurse Practitioners provide both on the day and pre-bookable appointments for seeing many conditions historically seen by the doctors, though currently does not see under 2 year olds, or issue sick notes.

Nurses

Our Practice Nurses are available by appointment to provide a full treatment room service including with Chronic Diseases, in addition to operating our triage telephone call back system for urgent same day problems and Acute Illness which are bookable through our triage service. They also advise on foreign travel and vaccinations.    Nurse

Healthcare Assistants

Our Health Care Assistants are able to undertake blood tests, New Patient Checks, ECGs, blood pressure checks, annual reviews, ear syringing, spirometry's (breathing test).

Family Planning Clinic

The practice offers a family planning services, were our trained ANP  fits/renews/removes coils and implants.

Ante-natal Care

Ante-natal care is provided generally by the midwife who will arrange with the lady concerned when and where appointments need to take place. The Midwife holds clinics on Wednesday and Thursday with one of those clinics being at the SureStart Centre.

Baby Clinic

We offer appointments for all baby vaccinations with one of our qualified nurses. 8 baby checks are carried out by a Doctor then followed up with vaccinations, a letter will be sent out by Child Health in Doncaster when this due. When you receive your invitation please ring the booking team to make an appointment on 01302 986111.  Our staff will be able to guide you to making a suitable appointment.
