Getting started

This facility is available to all our registered patients.

To use this service you will need to have access to a computer, tablet or smartphone, with internet access.  You will also need to obtain a user name and password, this will be issued to you by the receptionist on request.  You will need to apply in person and provide photographic identification before your user name and password will be issued.

If using a tablet or smartphone, you can access either via our website or by downloading the free SystmOne app.

You can also access the same information via the NHS App

Your can download the NHS App on to your phone and access an be granted remotely via a system of checks that it will request.  You will just need to follow the guidance on the App.

What does the online system offer?

The system enables patients to:

  • Request repeat prescriptions.
  • Book routine appointments with a GP
  • Cancel appointments
  • View their summary care record.
  • View your detailed coded or full medical record (additional application required)

Detailed Coded Record Access (recommended by the Practice)

This access option only shows coded entries and not any free text or letter content, however the main information within your record eg test results, medications, vaccinations, diagnoses etc. are all entered using codes and therefore you would be able to see all this information. Requesting detailed coded access will give you access to all the coded entries made from the beginning of your record. An application form to request detailed coded access can be printed from the link below or requested from reception.

Full Medical Record

This access will provide you with more detailed information; however access to that is only provided from the date that the request is granted and you won’t therefore see any information from earlier.
