Minor Injuries Service

The Practice now has a Minor Injury Service.  Patients can access the service during surgery opening hours. 

If you have an injury that requires treatment (eg sprains, minor lacerations, RTAs, minor head injuries etc), please contact the receptionist for information. You will be referred onto the hospital if the clinicians feel it is more appropriate. 

Orsett Minor Injuries

There is also a minor injuries service at Orsett who will treat amongst other things, uncomplicated fractures, insect and animal bites, minor cuts and bruises, minor burns and scalds, firework injuries, minor head injuries, closure of lacerations by suturing, stapling and gluing, foreign bodies in ears, nose or piercing skin, eye injuries, sprains and strains, emergency contraception (for teenagers and special circumstances)
