Repeat Prescriptions
You can order your prescription in the following ways:
- In person - Please use the post box in the main entrance, to reduce time in the practice please do not approach the front reception.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page to be redirected to Patient Access. Patient Access is also available as an app on your smartphone and tablet device.
- Chemist - your local chemist may offer a collection and delivery service.
Please note that for your own safety requests for medication are not accepted over the telephone.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Please note: When you sign up for Patient Access, the Practice is notified and has to approve your access before you can begin to use the full range of services. This is usually approved within 2 hours but if you register when we are closed you will need to wait until the next working day. If the system does not recognise your details please come into reception and collect your username and password letter.*
If it is being collected in person allow 48/72 hours. Please do not make requests by telephone because this blocks the lines and can lead to errors. Medication needed urgently can be arranged the same day.
Housebound patients can contact their local pharmacy many of which will make arrangements to collect and deliver prescriptions to the patient’s residence.
If you order your prescriptions on-line and would like a pharmacy to collect please notify the pharmacy that you would like them to collect your prescription and dispense the medication.
