Repeat PrescriptionsNice_vlue_pills

When ordering a repeat prescription please make sure that all requests have clear details of medication required, and whether you wish the medication to go to a chemist of your choice or to be collected in the surgery.

Note: we will not issue a repeat medication for an acute medication (i.e. something that you have only received once, have not had for a long time or have not had before without having seen a doctor/nurse)

Request Procedure

Patients are asked to phone our repeat prescription ordering line 01346 531800 as this helps our already busy dispensing staff. Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. Patients new to this service are required to complete a simple one-off registration before placing their first order.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
