Repeat Prescriptions
Patients on long term medication can order a repeat prescription in a number of ways:
- In person – drop your repeat slip in to reception having clearly marked the items required.
- By post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- Online – follow the link at the top of this page to access the online system. New users are required to complete a simple registration – please contact reception.
Collection of Your Paper Prescription
If you wish your prescription to be collected by a friend or family member they will now need to be registered on our system as authorised by you and will need to show identification on collecting your prescription.
Please ask for a prescription authorisation form at the reception desk.
Alternatively, consider having your prescription sent directly electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. This may be much more convenient for you. Ask at the pharmacy you use to nominate them or inform the staff at our reception desk.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
