The doctors welcome new patients who live within our practice area. As it often takes sometime for records to be forwarded from your former practice all newly registered patients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and are offered a consultation with the doctor.
Medical treatment is available from the date of registration. Please contact reception for further information.
Repeat Prescribing
Once we receive confirmation of your repeat prescription from your previous surgery and have undertaken a new patient check we are happy to continue your medicines. We do not however advocate the repeat prescribing of certain medicines which may lead to harm or addiction. We reserve the right to review medications that may be either addictive or harmful. If we have concerns you will be informed by the practice and if needed speak to one of the clinicians regarding our concerns.
Zero Tolerance
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the practice who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.
