Everyone is welcome in General Practice.

You do not need to proof of ID, address, immigration status or an NHS number in order to receive care or see a GP.

We now have a new telephone system in place, if you do not wish to stay on the line but want to keep your place in the queue, you can do so by requesting an automatic call back.

We would like to thank our patients who have been brilliant and adapted really well to the recent changes and apologise for any delay that may have been caused when contacting the Surgery by telephone, this has been a very difficult time for everybody and we appreciate your understanding during this time.

We are actively recalling patients on disease management registers to undertake their annual reviews. It is important that you attend these appointments so we can ensure we are providing you with high quality care and follow on management plans.

We have now got a separate telephone line to deal with these specific appointments 01302 986111, this line is available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.

Gentle reminder: If you no longer require your booked appointment please be courteous and cancel so that another patient requiring medical help can utilise the appointment you no longer require.

Please, please only attend A&E if you have a medical emergency. This is not a service for minor presenting ailments.

Extended Access Opening

The Practice has operated extended opening hours since September 2008.

The Practice will provide extended hours opening on a Wednesday and Thursday morning, Wednesday evening and every other Saturday (Sandringham branch only).

The key features are as follows:

  • This service will run from 7.00am - 8.00am every Wednesday & Thursday morning, 6.30pm - 7.30pm every Wednesday evening and 9.00am - 12.00noon every other Saturday (Sandringham branch only).
  • There will be clinicians available for pre-booked appointments.
  • This service is intended to be provided until further notice.
  • We may offer appointments with a Nurse or Health Care Assistant from time to time.
  • The Practice will not be open for any other services such as enquiries or collection of prescriptions.
  • During extended hours opening, the Practice will remain locked, with an intercom and remote door entry system available on the left hand wall next to our main entrance door.
  • The Practice will not be receiving incoming telephone calls during the extended hours.

Please note that we will not be offering an urgent, emergency or walk in service, which will continue to be provided by the NHS 111 service. Anyone presenting without an appointment will be directed to the NHS 111 Service if urgent, or requested to make a routine appointment.

The appointments will be released for booking in advance of the appointment day and are intended primarily for those patients who find it difficult to attend during normal hours.

We will be monitoring the use of the service and sincerely hope this will continue to benefit our patients.
