GP Earnings 2017/18

NHS England requires that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below.

However it should be noted that the prescribed method of calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GP's working to deliver NHS services to patients in their practice.

The average GP pay for working in The Grange Group Practice in the last financial year was £43,359 before tax and national insurance.

This is for 2 full time GP's and 7 part-time GP's who worked in the Practice for more than 6 months.

Change to SMS Policy

From 1st March 2017, if you have given consent to receive SMS text messages the practice will be sending out SMS text message confirmation when a patient books an appointment. You will also receive a reminder SMS text message the day before your appointment.

Please let reception know if you would like your mobile number adding to your records so that we can send you SMS text messages, or if you have changed your mobile number.

The Grange Group Practice may operate quite differently to a single-handed or smaller GP practice.
