What is a Carer?

A carer is an individual who cares for a family member, a friend or another person in need of assistance or support with their daily lives. A carer gives support with the person's life matters and assist them with their health and well being. This includes helping them with their food shopping, accompanying them to doctor appointments and assisting them with their personal hygiene. Being a carer can be challenging and it can take its toll on an individual. If you are a carer, there are plenty of support available for you here at the surgery.

The carer's lead in the surgery are Dr Reena Patel (Clinical Lead) and Mrs Kamaljeet Sall (Admin Lead).
If you have any queries or any concerns as a carer, please feel free to contact the surgery and we will be happy to help you.
