Ratby Medical Centre development 

Ratby Surgery becomes Ratby Medical Centre

Until THURSDAY 1pm 16th November we will be in our old building (Ratby Surgery, 122-124 Station Road, Leicestershire, LE6 0JP). We are CLOSED for the remainder of Thursday for the move but medical care is available by contacting the surgery

From FRIDAY 17th November we will be in the new Ratby Medical Centre - 1A Desford Road, Ratby, Leicestershire, LE6 0LE

We will be holding a formal opening event 2-4pm Saturday 18th November for anyone wishing to look around

NHS Hearing Aid re-placement batteries

Ratby Surgery can now supply patients/local residents with re-placement NHS Hearing Aid Batteries. Remember to bring your Yellow Card with you.

Physiotherapy self referral service now available

Patients are now able to refer themselves to a physiotherapist for joint and muscular problems at the University Hospitals of Leicester sites, including Glenfield Hospital. Please pick up the forms from reception if you feel you need you need this service. 

Let's Talk Wellbeing Self Referral

The service provides psychological assessment and treatment (talking therapies) for common mental health problems, which 1 in 4 of us will suffer with at some stage in our lives. This includes depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma and stress.

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has launched a dedicated phone line* so that people of all ages in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland can access urgent NHS mental health support directly.

Disabled access improvements

Ratby Surgery have now invested in a ramp to aid patients who use mobility scooters to access the practice. Should you wish to use it, please let reception know when you book your appointment so that we can prepare the ramp for you as it is not a permanent structure.

Enhanced Access appointments

We are increasing the number of appointments available for you to speak to a health care professional in the evenings or at weekends in Hinckley and Bosworth for those that struggle to access the surgery between 8am to 6.30pm.

Depending on your individual circumstances and symptoms, you can request or  we may offer you an ‘enhanced access’ appointment with a health care professional at Centre Surgery, Hinckley, or Newbold Verdon Medical Practice in Newbold Verdon.
