September 2025- Sale of Manor Oak premises update

We want to reassure all our patients that the sale of the building freehold does not affect the GP surgery or the services we provide.

  • Manor Oak Surgery will continue to operate as normal, with the same doctors, nurses, and staff.
  • Your registration with the practice remains unchanged – you do not need to do anything.
  • The change relates only to the ownership of the building itself, not the medical practice or the care we provide.

Our priority remains your health and wellbeing, and we will continue to offer the same high standard of care to all our patients.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the practice directly.

Monday 29 September 🚨 Service Update 🚨- as of 1pm on 29th September- this issue has now largely been resolved

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our computer network. This means that many of our applications are not refreshing and we do not have access to them at the moment.

👉 We remain open, but please be aware that we are limited in what we can do until the issue is resolved.
👉 We are using contingency packs to ensure we can continue providing support as best as possible.
👉 We are awaiting further updates from our IT team and will share more information as soon as we have it.

This may be a Sussex-wide issue, as we are aware of other practices in the area experiencing similar problems.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Let's work together to keep antibiotics working

Imagine a world where common infections became life-threatening, because our medicines no longer worked. It might sound like the plot for a dystopian film, but this scenario is real and it's happening now. Antimicrobial resistance, known as AMR, is stopping antibiotics from being as effective as they used to be. See https://tinyurl.com/yswx94hr for further information

Triage system slowness – Wednesday 4 June 2025

Good morning, we would like to advise our patients that we are experiencing some slowness with the Accurx triage system this morning.

Accurx are aware and are investigating the cause and solution to this.

If you have submitted a form this morning we will get back to you but it may be a slower response than we would normally aim for.

Friday 17th January 2025

We would like to advise our patients that there is a road closure sign at Horebeech Lane by the mini roundabout in Horam.

Our patients can still access Manor Oak Surgery via this route as the closure is further along the road.

We would like to remind our patients to be careful when navigating around the road closure signs as there is still traffic coming from the opposite direction.

Thank you

Thursday 28 November- An update on front line services-

We’ve heard some of the feedback recently from patients. Please be assured that providing the best possible care continues to be our priority. As we have been seeing across the community, our team have also been experiencing some sickness in the recent weeks, including this week. This is affecting our front line team as well as the wider practice staff and therefore has had an impact on the number of appointments we have been able to offer. We clearly work hard to prepare for sicknesses and absence but as you will appreciate there is an increased rate of winter bugs at the current time.
Thank you for your continued kindness and understanding when contacting the practice.
