Noticeboard

Out of Hours
If you require a doctor after 6pm, at weekends or on public holidays when the surgery is closed, please telephone the usual number (0845 – 337 – 6310).  Your call will then be redirected to NHS 24

Test Results
The Practice has scheduled time (2pm – 4pm) each weekday for patients wishing to enquire about Test Results. Please select the appropriate option when telephoning the practice.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

Registration

registration_formThe Reception staff will explain the process of how to register with the practice and will ask you to complete a set of Registration Forms.

These forms can also be printed off from the Home page of this website - Further information - Register at this practice.

Any new patient who is on repeat medication should highlight this to the reception staff and they will be contacted by the Practice Pharmacist for a medication review.  It would be helpful if you have you list of current medication readily to hand for this call.

It is now current practice to be registered with a Practice, not an individual GP.

Geographical Boundary

Each medical practice has a geographical boundary. Patients living within the boundary are entitled to register with the Insch Medical Practice. If you move house and your new home is located outside this boundary, we will write to you and ask you to register with another practice.

A receptionist can give you access to a map of our geographically boundary and can check if your address falls within our boundary.
