Before Requesting a Consultation
The NHS has introduced more options to allow you to see the correct Health Care Professional which may no longer be your GP.
Please visit www.nhsinform.scot for further information.
RIGHT PERSON - RIGHT PLACE - RIGHT TIME
EXTENDED HOURS
To assist patients who are working, or patients who require to book in advance, we now offer pre booked early morning telephone consultations. The patient must be able to receive a call between 7.30 and 8.30. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee you a GP of your choice.
GP APPOINTMENTS DURING COVID
To keep everyone safe, consultations are being carried out mainly by telephone. A face to face will be offered if the GP feels this is necessary. Masks must be worn.
We receive over 150 requests per day for consultations. Please give Reception sufficient details to allow clinicians to prioritise calls. The Receptionist may also redirect you to another more appropriate Health Care Professional instead.
Telephone Access in the Morning
As we operate a mostly on the day consultation system the lines are very busy between 08:30 and 09:30. We now have 5 lines operating at these times and will continue to monitor the telephone lines. If you are not telephoning for a consultation you may prefer to phone outwith these times. If you are phoning for a prescription please call our prescription line direct on 0141 531 8177 or sign up to online ordering.
Training Practice
We are a training practice. As part of ongoing training we may need to ask patients to complete questionnaires, agree to video consultations or allow medical students to be present during consultations. We hope that you will co-operate and help us. If your help is required you will be informed prior to your consultation. If you would prefer not to participate your wishes will be respected.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
