Why are we changing our appointments system to Anima
We are adopting this system to:
- Ensure patients get the right care at the right time
- Make the best use of GP and clinical time
- Increase appointment availability
- Reduce waiting times
- Align with the NHS Modern General Practice Model

Requests must now be submitted online by using the Anima app
Exceptions
Only the following appointments can still be booked by phone:
- Nurse appointments
- Healthcare Assistant (HCA) appointments
- If you are unable to complete the online form yourself (we can support you, call after 8:30am)
Submitting a Request via Anima
We use Anima to manage our online triage system.
When can I submit a request?
- Medical requests can be submitted: Monday to Friday starting from 8:00am through our website.
- Admin requests Monday to Friday starting from 8:00am through our website.
How long does it take?
The online form takes only a few minutes to complete and helps our team understand your needs quickly and clearly.
What happens next?
Once your form is reviewed by our team:
- You will be contacted with advice, an appointment, or signposted to the most appropriate service.
- We aim to respond as quickly as possible, often the same day. (please allow up to two working days)
