Now more than ever GP practices are experiencing significant and growing strain with rising demand, struggles to recruit and retain staff and declining GP numbers. To provide analysis of the pressures being faced in general practice and as part of the GP Contract in Wales, each practice is required to report monthly to their Local Health Board on specific areas of activity and share this with their patients.
The information gathering process is a relatively new one and will become more accurate as we improve the manner in which we collect the data. It does not represent the entirety of GP workload but will provide a snapshot of activity undertaken in the practice.
Our monthly data is displayed in infographic format and is available to view on our Website, Facebook page and patient information board in the waiting area. No patient identifiable information has been collected to provide this report.
