TRAVEL HEALTH
Travel vaccinations in Arklow
Travel consultations and vaccines with our practice nurses. We are an official Yellow Fever vaccination centre.
Book 6 to 8 weeks before you travel
Some vaccines need more than one dose, or take time to work. Phone reception on 0402 39841. Travelling sooner? Call anyway, as we can often still help.
HOW IT WORKS
1
Check your destination
Look up your country below to see which vaccines and precautions are recommended.
2
Fill in our questionnaire
Complete the travel health questionnaire before your appointment, so the nurse can plan ahead.
3
See the nurse
A 30 to 60 minute consultation covering vaccines, malaria tablets and staying well abroad.
4
Get vaccinated
Many vaccines can be given at the same appointment. Some need follow-up doses.
CHECK YOUR DESTINATION
Popular destinations from Ireland. Each link opens up-to-date vaccine and malaria advice for that country from TravelHealthPro, the official UK travel health service.
FEES
Single person€90
Two people€120
Family€150

Initial travel consultation (30 to 60 minutes). Travel vaccines are not covered by the Medical Card or GP Visit Card. See our fees page.

YELLOW FEVER
We are an official Yellow Fever vaccination centre, so you don’t need to travel to Dublin. Some countries require proof of vaccination to enter, and you will receive the International Certificate of Vaccination at your appointment. Bring it with you when you travel.
TRAVELLING IN EUROPE
Apply for a free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before you go. It covers state healthcare in EU and EEA countries and Switzerland, but it does not replace travel insurance.
