WINTER VACCINE ADVICE

Flu and Covid vaccine clinics continuing in September 2025 

Clinics will run from 12pm to 1pm and 2pm to 4.30pm each day. Please email maryvillesurgery@gmail.com to make a booking or phone 0402 39841. 

Children age 2 to 17 will be offered the nasal flu vaccine for free in flu season (see information here)

Patient information on the vaccines 

Flu vaccine protects against the flu, so people in risk groups, including pregnant women, should make sure they get the vaccine every year - keep it in mind.

Most people who get the flu are able to self medicate and be looked after at home, with rest and plenty of fluids. However, as had been anticipated, this winter some people were hospitalised as a result of their illness.
