The practice will close every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm-2.30pm.
Between these times, the telephone system will be diverted to a message and the reception desk will be closed. In the event of a life threatening emergency, please call 999. Otherwise please call back after 2.30pm.
These short closures will allow the whole practice team to get together so we can work on improving our appointment system and availability.
We will keep you updated on progress and changes.

OUT OF HOURS, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & PROTECTED LEARNING TIME :
If you are unwell when the practice is closed please phone the Out of Hours service on 111 (NHS24, free-phone) . You will be asked for information about your health and condition and will be advised on the most appropriate course of action.
For life threatening emergency please phone 999 and speak to the ambulance service, Chest pains/shortness of breath constitute an emergency

PROTECTED LEARNING TIME (PLT)
Several afternoons per year the practice is closed from 1pm for Protected Learning Time to allow for education/training for all staff.
