Stoke Surgery is part of the Waterside Primary Care Network. The Network consists of 6 practices, covering over 60,000 patients in the Waterfront area of the City of Plymouth. The aim of the Network is for practices to work together to offer the best possible service to patients in our area of the city.

Stoke Surgery is a modern, fully equipped surgery. There are facilities for disabled patients, including wheelchair access via a ramp at the front entrance.

Stoke Surgery has teamed up with the Wolseley Trust to provide Social Prescribing services to our patients.
Social Prescribing provides advice and support to people to access community activities and services. Healthy Futures is for anyone who needs help with something non-medical that is affecting their health and well being.

Pharmacy First
Is a new scheme which allows people with certain minor ailments and conditions to go straight to their pharmacist to receive a consultation without needing to visit their GP to get a prescription first.
Your Pharmacist is a qualified health care professional who can help with your health problems and will offer you a private space to talk with you about your symptoms.
If it is something more serious, then they will direct you appropriately

Accessible Information Standard
The Accessible Information Standard tells organisations how they should make sure that disabled patients receive information in formats that they can understand and receive appropriate support to help them to communicate.

Making your local health record work better for you
This practice is part of the local shared care record initiative.
It will soon be possible for you to give permission for other health care professionals to view your GP health record when they are providing you with care.
