With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

mask
In line with recent government recommendations, it is still mandatory to wear a face covering in health care settings and we expect all patients entering our building to wear a face covering.
Our entire practice team will be doing the same.

Face coverings protect *other people* from droplets that you may release into the air, they do not protect you unless everyone wears them.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding

PATIENT ACCESS....

Patient Access allows patients to access their online services at their local GP practice. These may include arranging appointments, ordering your repeat medication, secure messages, viewing your medical record and updating your contact details.

Patient Access allows clinicians to be more efficient in providing care, while  patients are quickly able to receive the help they need without having to travel to the practice.

Please see reception to register for online services.  Bring photo ID with you if you wish to register.

Named Accountable GP

From 1st April 2015, practices are required to allocate all patients (including children) with a named accountable GP.

The named GP is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all appropriate services, where required based on clinical judgement, to each of their patients.

  • Patients do not need to see their named GP when they book an appointment with the practice.
  • Patients are entitled to choose to see any GP or nurse in the practice.
  • You have a right to choose a GP within the practice either for one appointment or generally, but this may mean you will have to wait longer for an appointment. Also, the GP may refuse to see you if there are reasonable grounds, or you could be asked to see another GP if you are requesting a particular service which is provided by another clinician within the practice.
  • You have a right to an appointment, regardless of whether or not you have been seen within the last 3 years (12 months if over 75).
