Welcome To Lordship Lane Surgery

We know that lock-down has been a challenging time for all of our patients. Our doctors are continuing to provide medical advice on the phone.

We are providing appointments with our practice nurses for immunisations, injections, dressings and stitch removal.

So that we can keep our most vulnerable patients safe we ask that you do not come into the surgery unless you have a pre-booked appointment.

We aim to give you the best possible care, in a clean and safe environment and place great importance on reducing the risk of infection to patients and our staff.

Do not delay seeking treatment

If you, or a family member, are ill please do not delay seeking treatment.

When your child is ill or injured it is very difficult to decide if/when to call your child’s GP, NHS 111 or go the Accident and Emergency Department (A&E). During the current situation and while the government is asking everyone to stay at home, it can be confusing to know what to do. Here is some guidanceadvice for parents

Coronavirus symptoms and households

If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough, a loss of or change in your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia), or a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for 7 days.

Please do not attend your GP practice.

If you live with other people, they should stay at home for at least 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home. After 14 days, anyone you live with who does not have symptoms can return to their normal routine.

But, if anyone in your home gets symptoms, they should stay at home for 7 days from the day their symptoms start. Even if it means they're at home for longer than 14 days. The most up-to-date public guidance is always online at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus

If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.

Childhood Immunisations

It is very important to continue routine immunisations for children, we cannot afford to have outbreaks of measles, mumps, rubella etc while the health system is responding to COVID-19. Please call the surgery to book an appointment with the practice nurse.

Get Well, Keep Well

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

We aim to improve health care services with a personal and caring approach in a friendly environment; with the best interests of our service users at the heart of all we do.

We aim to achieve this by maintaining a happy, professional, safe, adaptable and sustainable practice, nurturing a culture which provides continuity and is responsive to patients’ needs and expectations within the framework of the NHS.

About Our Healthier South East London

Our Healthier South East London (OHSEL) is the NHS Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) for south east London.

We aim to address three problems in local healthcare:

  • The health and wellbeing gap – people should be helped to lead healthier and longer lives
  • The care and quality gap – variation in the accessibility and quality of care should be improved
  • The funding and efficiency gap – the NHS must become more efficient and make better use of the money available
