Prevention is better than cure
The Practice runs a series of clinics to assist in prevention/early diagnosis of particular illnesses and/or management of current illnesses. You are encouraged to attend the relevant clinics.
Child Development
Wednesday 13:00 – 15:00 by appointment
Immunisations
These are now community based and appointments are allocated by the Health Board
Well Woman
Thursday by appointment (nurse led clinic)
Smear Clinic
Tuesday 14:00 – 17:00 by appointment (nurse led clinic)
Diabetic Clinic
Thursday 09:00 – 11:30 (nurse led clinic) By appointment.
Drug Clinic
Thursday 13:50 – 16:50 by appointment via doctor only
Chronic Disease Clinic; various days and times. Appointments should be requested for the Practice nurse. This covers CHD, Stroke, Hypertension, Asthma, COPD.
Coils/Implants; patients must make an appointment with the nurse or female GP to discuss first and receive prescription. Note: For coils: patients will be put on a waiting list after they have received prescriptions.
