Medicine Waste Campaign

Wasted medicine causes a dent in the NHS budget which can't be recovered. Many patients are not using the medicine that they are prescribed.

These medicines costs the NHS millions and by stopping or preventing medicine from being wasted this would save the NHS drastically and open up possibilities for the NHS to spend elsewhere.

The savings by preventing medicine waste will enable a better healthcare service for you. This can be done by only ordering the medicine which you absolutely need and nothing more. It is vital that medicine is no longer wasted.

Named GP

You may be aware that practices are required to provide all their patients with a named GP who will be responsible for co-ordinating all the services we provide through our contract. We have allocated a GP to every patient in the practice (including children) who will have overall responsibility for the care and support that our practice provides for you. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice, as you currently do. If you would like to know who your named GP is please contact reception.
