Appointments
This is a group practice and you can choose to see any of the doctors here. All consultations at the Health Centre are by appointment but no appointment is needed for either of the branch surgeries.
The standard appointment is 10 minutes long. Your problem may need longer in which case the doctor may ask you to book a further appointment.
Urgent Appointments
Each day we have a duty Doctor. The duty doctor sees patients requesting an appointment who cannot wait until the next available routine appointment with a doctor. The duty doctor will also go on any emergency visits and take telephone calls from patients wishing to speak to a doctor. The workload on a duty day is unpredictable and the doctor may be interrupted.
Routine/Follow Up Appointments
Routine appointments are bookable about one month in advance. You may book an appointment with any doctor but we recommend that, if possible, you continue to see the same doctor for the follow up of any ongoing problem. We aim to offer you a routine appointment within 2 working days, although this may not always be with the doctor of your choice.
Branch Surgeries
We hold regular surgeries in Combwich and Stogursey for residents of those villages who would find it difficult to get to the Health Centre. No appointment is needed but facilities are limited and the doctor may ask you to make an appointment at the Health Centre for further investigations. The details are as follows:
Church Rooms, Castle Street, Stogursey
Time: Thursday 3.00pm-4.30pm with Dr Bobbett
Otterhampton Village Hall, Riverside, Combwich
Time: Wednesday 3.00pm-4.30pm with Dr Baverstock
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
