FRIENDS OF DESFORD SURGERY -  PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP 

The Friends of Desford Surgery are looking for enthusiastic new members to join them in supporting the Medical Centre. The group meet 4 times a year, and represent the voice of patients, and also attend regular meetings within the wider Clinical commissioning group. Additionally, the group produce a quarterly newsletter for patients, as well as organise fundraising and health awareness events. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Mrs Anju Maini, at the Surgery. Thank you!

The Medical Centre has taken part in the Patient Participation Scheme for 2014/2015. This has involved collating and analysing patient feedback from a variety of sources, in conjunction with the Patient Participation Group (Friends of Desford Surgery).  As a result, three priority areas were identified to make improvements.  The Practice have worked on these, over the last few months, and results were also evaluated. The Reporting Template above, describes the PPG, and the 3 areas of improvement identified. Our Practice action plan also highlights additional areas which we will be working on.
