Patients with ongoing conditions such as asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes are reviewed by our practice nurse who liaise as appropriate with the doctor.  Contraceptive services, cervical cytology, spirometry, ear syringing, travel advice, immunisations, wound care and dressings etc are also provided by the practice nurse. 

Our healthcare assistants perform blood tests, ECGs, blood pressure checks, new patient health checks and NHS health checks.  The healthcare assistants also run smoking cessation clinics.

The Business Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, finance, patient safety, premises, equipment and information technology. The Business Practice Manager supports the GP's and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Ante-natal care is shared between the doctors and community midwives. The midwives hold a clinic offsite for expectant and nursing mums.
