I qualified as a doctor in London in 1989 and after becoming a registrar in elderly care medicine, I saw the light and retrained as a GP. I joined the practice in 1998. I have particular interests in cardiac, musculoskeletal, and care of the elderly medicine. I believe that patients should see the same GP consistently wherever possible. I qualified as a doctor in Bristol in 1994. I worked in various hospital jobs including a year in Queensland in Australia. I spent the majority of my hospital time working in Obstetrics & Gynaecology as I had thought I might like to specialise in that branch of hospital medicine. However in 1998 I decided to try General practice and I loved it. I was able to get a job as a GP Registrar here with Dr Anderson and Dr Laurence as my trainers. I trained for a year here and then worked as a part time locum doctor and part time salaried GP in Kingswood until I was offered a partnership here in 2001.
