NHS vaccinations and when to have them 

Vaccines are the most effective way to prevent many infectious diseases and it is important that vaccines are given on time for the best protection but if you or your child has missed a vaccination then please contact the surgery to make a catch up appointment.

Practice Management

The management team is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The team supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Nicola Reeves - Practice Manager (f)

Nicola Reeves is a qualified Practice Manager and she has worked as a Practice Manager in the Swale area for over 20 years.

Nicola is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice and she makes sure the practice complies with all the legal requirements of the surgery, for example, the CQC, by ensuring the correct policies and protocols are in place for the safety and wellbeing of the patients of the practice as well as for the staff. Nicola is also the Complaints Lead for the practice.

Nicola is also trained as a Mental Health First Aider.

Jodie Kemp - QOF and Quality Manager (f)

Jodie is responsible for the QOF - Quality and Outcomes Framework as well as the Quality and Safety protocols of the practice.


She ensures all the processes are in place for patient safety as well as supporting Nicola, the Practice Manager to ensure the practice is compliant with the CQC - Care Quality Commission requirements.


Jodie also supports the Clinicians with prescribing protocols for to ensure patient safety and quality.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and they are your initial contact point for general enquiries.


They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query.


They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries.
