Repeat Prescriptions

Regular medication may be obtained monthly by posting your repeat slip in the box located at the reception desk or if the practice is closed in the white post box by the main entrance to the practice.

Alternatively you can now order repeat prescriptions online via the link at the top of this page. All patients wishing to order prescriptions online should register for this service in order to obtain the necessary access codes. Please call into the practice with any form of ID. This could be a driving license, a gas bill or passport for example.

  • Please only tick on the slip what you require to reduce medicine wastage.
  • We require 48 hours to process your repeat prescription.
  • Please make allowances for weekends and public holidays.

Local pharmacies offer a pickup and delivery service for repeat prescriptions. Please enquire at your local pharmacy for additional information on this service. You must notify the pharmacy of your choice when your prescription needs collecting.

Electronic Prescribing

The Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) is an NHS Service. It gives you the opportunity to change how your GP sends your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice to receive medicines or appliances.

Click here for more information, the practice and local pharmacies have leaflets to explain the changes and EPS patient nomination forms.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or Clinical Pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
