Repeat Prescriptions

You can request repeat prescriptions:

  • from the reception desk
  • by email by sending your request to
  • online via the link at the top of this page where you will be able to click  on requested medication.
  • by post with a stamped addressed envelope

Please allow 48 hours before coming to collect the prescription.

Ideally, we would like you to use the tear-off portion of your repeat prescription. If this is not available or if the request is for a drug that is not on the tear-off slip, you will need to put your request in writing, making sure that we have the correct name, strength and dosage of the medication you need.

If you as a patient, feel that you are taking a medicine which is not helping your condition please tell us at your next appointment. If you do not know, or cannot remember, why the doctor has prescribed a certain drug please ask us to explain why at your next appointment.
If you have stopped taking a drug, please let us know. We can update our records accordingly.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
