Repeat Prescriptions.

All Prescriptions are now need to be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy. Please let the practice know your preferred pharmacy, it can be changed at any time.

We are encouraging patients to order their prescriptions via their Online account or to set up Repeat Dispensing with their usual GP. This is suitable for stable long term prescriptions. At your next medication review with your GP, we can set up repeat dispensing for 3,6 or 12 months depending on the medication. This provides a batch of prescription for your pharmacy to dispense to you regularly.

Repeat Dispensing information can be found here:

We do not take prescription requests by telephone.  Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please remember to ask about setting up repeat dispensing.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
