Friends and Family Test (FFT)

The FFT is a feedback tool which offers patients of NHS-funded services the opportunity to provide feedback about the care and treatment they have received.

The FFT tool combines a simple question, asking patients how likely they would be to recommend the service they have received to their friends and family; with at least one complementary follow-up question to enable patients to provide further detail about their experience.

To provide your feedback, please click on the "Friends and Family Test" link on the right navigation pane under the "Have your say" section OR ask at reception for a form.

Online Appointment Booking

We have a range of appointments that can be booked (or cancelled) online. Please complete the necessary documentation available from reception.

To reduce the number of missed appointments we are now sending patients a text message containing their appointment details when a booking is made.

A further message will also be sent 48 hours before the appointment is due as a reminder.

Our Practice policy is to request at least 72 hours' notice to enable the dispensary team to process your prescription and medication.

Please be aware that it is 72 hours from noon on the day your prescription is put in the repeat request box or handed into Keyingham surgery. For example if you put your request in the box at Hedon at 10.00am on a Monday it will not be available until after 12.00 noon on the Thursday.

The 72 hours does not include………Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.

Further to the above we also request if possible more than 72 hours to process your repeat medication requests before and after the Bank Holidays, especially at Easter and Christmas.

**Repeat medication that is requested in advance must be approved by a GP or a Dispensing Supervisor. Please contact the dispensary for more information.**

All our repeat prescriptions are under regular review so from time to time you will be requested to see one of the Doctors or Nurses before a further prescription can be issued. This is because many medicines require regular reviews to ensure their greatest benefit.  The due date will be on your repeat order slip.
